On March 29, Warom Technology Incorporated Company organized its employees to carry out the special activity of blood donation and hematopoietic stem cell volunteer recruitment in 2023. The activity was strongly supported by the company leadership and the active participation of the staff. 17,600ml of blood was collected and 8 staffs joined the ranks of blood stem cell volunteers honorably, giving love with practical actions and spreading the love and warmth of Warom people.
In the morning, there was a long line of employees waiting to donate blood at the blood donation site in the company's canteen. Under the guidance of the central blood station staff, everyone filled out the blood donation registration form, took blood tests and waited for blood donation in turn after passing the blood test. On-site staff introduced the scientific knowledge of blood stem cell donation to employees who came to participate in blood donation and called for the mobilization of healthy and age-appropriate employees to participate in the voluntary blood stem cell donation team.
Among the staff who participated in the blood donation, some were "old acquaintances" who had donated blood for many times, while some were "new faces" who donated blood for the first time. The "old acquaintances" said that blood donation is not only good for physical and mental health, but also supports social welfare. For the newcomers who donated blood for the first time, the medical staff relieved their tension by playing family games, so that they could relax and complete the blood donation process smoothly. During the blood donation activity, many party members and cadres also actively donated blood with their arms.
Since 2007, Warom has been very supportive of public welfare, calling on eligible employees to donate blood every year and cooperating with Xu Hang Town to carry out special blood donation activities to help people in need with a small amount of enterprise power and offer a love to the society. Over the past ten years, we have donated more than 1,000 blood donations totaling more than 200,000 ml, and dozens of employees have become voluntary blood stem cell donors. The company has been awarded the titles of "Excellent Group in Shanghai Blood Donation Assessment" and "Advanced Group in Blood Donation Work in Xu Xing Town". In the next step, we will actively practice our corporate social responsibility and organize our employees to participate in blood donation, so as to transmit love with true feelings and let love fuel life.
