Improve product quality and be a good safety guard
On May 10, 2025, the theme seminar on "Improving Product Quality and Being a Good Safety Guard" jointly sponsored by Warom and Shanghai Institute of Instrumentation and Control was successfully concluded in Jiading, Shanghai.
The conference adopted a combination of online and offline mode, and more than 200 elite representatives from the government, industry associations, testing and certification institutions, design institutes and industry users participated in the conference on site, with a total of more than 2,200 online participants. The conference focused on the quality improvement of explosion-proof electrical products, technological innovation and industry norms, intelligent explosion-proof technology and other topics to inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the industry and jointly build a new line of defense for industrial safety.
Zhang Quanyou, second-level inspector and director of the Publicity and Training Division of the Shanghai Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, Li Debao, director of the Product Quality and Safety Supervision and Management Division of the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, and Guo Aihua, executive director of the Shanghai Institute of Instrumentation and Control, were invited to attend the seminar and delivered speeches, emphasizing the importance of explosion-proof electrical equipment as the "lifeline" of industrial safety, and calling on the whole industry to strengthen quality awareness and strictly abide by the bottom line of safety.
Bai Wenbo, Secretary-General of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, and Liu Daping, Secretary-General of Explosion-proof Electrical Appliances Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, put forward constructive suggestions from the dimensions of industry standard system optimization and technology upgrading, pointing out the direction for industrial upgrading.
Yang Yonghua, deputy general manager pointed out in his speech that Warom drives development with technological innovation, actively participates in the formulation of national/industry standards, and achieves "zero accidents" in product quality with strict quality management, providing safety guarantee for the hazardous chemical industry. The joint meeting between Warom and Shanghai Institute of Instrumentation and Control is intended to work with industry chain partners to build a new ecology of quality co-governance. Warom will uphold the principle of "customer first, service first", enhance two-way understanding with customers through "going out and inviting in", provide customers with high-quality and efficient services, and achieve a sustainable win-win situation with partners.
Professor Xu Jianping, the two-term former chairman of the IECEx Technical Committee (ExTAG) and the current treasurer of IECEx, gave a professional knowledge lecture entitled "Current Status of Explosion-proof Electrical Quality and New Requirements for Compliance Application". Focusing on the relevant requirements of the new GB3836.15/16-2024 standard, Professor Xu briefly summarized the current situation of domestic explosion-proof electrical quality and application, and in view of this situation, he deeply analyzed the latest mandatory explosion-proof specifications and compliance requirements for the design, selection and maintenance of explosion-proof electrical products, and provided forward-looking guidance for the participants.
Qian Song, Director of the Explosion-proof Comprehensive Management Department of Shanghai Institute of Instrumentation and Control, and Chen Xiao, Director of the On-site Inspection Department, respectively shared a special report on the theme of "Analysis of the Current Situation of Explosion-proof Electrical Product Quality Based on National Quality Supervision and Spot Inspection" and "Requirements for On-site Application and Installation and Maintenance of Explosion-proof Electrical Products" from the aspects of product quality spot check results and on-site application.
Zhao Feng, an expert from the Safety and Environmental Protection Quality Management Department of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield, shared a special report on "The New Situation of Explosion-proof Electrical in Shengli Oilfield under the Background of High-quality Development" from the user side.
Wang Yade, director of the center, shared a special report on "Application of Intelligent Technology for Petrochemical Site Safety Monitoring and Management" from the production side. Mr. Wang explained in detail the SCS Safety Engineering Intelligent System (V3.0) independently developed by Warom and the technical advantages, functional characteristics and market applications of the products. It can provide customized services according to the actual needs of customer projects, we have established and mature and stable application of each subsystem, through integration, fusion, algorithm and other technical optimization, greatly improved the application function and effect of the system, the system has been in a number of petrochemical parks and enterprises stable operation, favored by customers.
At the seminar, the participants carried out in-depth interactive exchanges around typical cases in practical work, analyzed the pain points of the industry through real scenarios and proposed systematic solutions.
During the meeting, the company invited leading experts and users to visit the Warom production site and have in-depth exchanges with customers on process technology, lean production, intelligent manufacturing and other aspects. The guests visited Warom exhibition hall, testing center, automated manufacturing workshop and assembly line, and recognized Warom's digital management model and intelligent manufacturing process. During the visit, customers raised questions and opinions on production technology and product use, and the company's staff answered them in detail, and the on-site exchange atmosphere was warm and active.
This seminar not only built a high-level communication platform for the explosion-proof electrical industry, but also clarified the action path for quality improvement and safety development.
