Australia Perdaman Fertilizer Plant Project
- Project Overview
Perdaman Fertilizer Plant, located in the Burrup Strategic Industrial Area of Western Australia’s Pilbara region, is a A$6.5 billion project invested by Perdaman. With an annual production capacity of 2–2.3 million tonnes of urea, it aims to reduce Australia’s long-term reliance on fertilizer imports and meet about 96% of domestic urea demand.
- Customer background and challenges
The project encountered significant challenges, including stringent technical requirements set by the owner and designer, bankruptcy and legal disputes involving the EPC contractor—which brought construction to a temporary halt—as well as controversies surrounding environmental and cultural heritage protection, all of which substantially impacted the project’s execution timeline.
- OurSolution
Throughout project execution, we place a primary emphasis on our client’s requirements. Through in-depth communication, we deliver design solutions that are both aligned with their needs and cost-effective. When changes and adjustments arise during implementation, we respond promptly, clarify responsibilities, and quickly arrange rework to ensure issues do not cause delays or impact the overall schedule.
Through regular weekly meetings and dedicated clarification sessions, we continuously align with the client’s actual needs and dynamically refine order specifics. This ensures that the explosion-proof products we provide—such as junction boxes, distribution boxes, plugs and sockets, and LCS—not only fully meet project requirements but also offer optimal cost-effectiveness and timely delivery, fully supporting the project’s smooth progress.
- Implementation Process &Timeline
Following the successful bid for the first junction box package in August 2024, we commenced project execution in October of the same year. Throughout 2025, we were further awarded three additional junction box purchase orders, four bulk material packages, one LVDB (Low Voltage Distribution Board) package, and multiple orders for miscellaneous components.
Currently, all orders are being managed through phased production and multi-tiered delivery, with progress proceeding smoothly as planned. Full delivery of all goods is expected to be completed between January and March 2026.
- Results & Data Highlights
Beginning with an initial order of US$87,000 in August 2024, we have since secured multiple follow-up purchase orders, bringing the total contract value to approximately US$970,000. This achievement marks a significant breakthrough in our Australian project portfolio, moving from zero to tangible results, and lays a solid foundation for our continued expansion in the market.
