- Project Overview
Tanajib IPP is a major energy infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia. A consortium formed by SCT and the Arab Contractors Company of Saudi Arabia won the bid with a total contract value of US$1.28 million. The project execution period spans from 2022 to 2024 and marks the first collaboration between Warom and SCT, holding significant strategic importance for future cooperation with SCT on other projects.
- Customer background and challenges
The project is one of the few large-scale petroleum coke gasification power generation projects globally that has achieved successful commercial operation, providing important references for similar regions and the treatment of comparable by-products. For suppliers, it is essential not only to meet high-standard technical requirements for products but also to possess comprehensive service capabilities to address complex project scenarios in order to stand out in intense market competition.
- Our Solution
Addressing the core needs and pain points of the project, Warom Technology implemented precise measures and formed a complete solution covering three key dimensions: product supply, technological R&D, and after-sales. The key products and initiatives are as follows:
1. The products supplied for this project were mainly non-explosion-proof. The lighting package consisted primarily of traditional light source fixtures, including FGY, HRFY, FAD-T and HRD61. During the project design phase, we provided IES files of the fixtures and collaborated with the EPC contractor to complete the lighting illuminance design. The electrical package was mainly FXMD distribution boxes. To meet the full solution requirements of the project, we also partnered with South Korean suppliers to provide sensors that are compatible with the distribution boxes.
2.After sales:After the product delivery to the site, the EPC contractor found that the on-site lighting illuminance failed to meet the requirements. In response to this situation, Warom responded quickly by dispatching engineers to the Saudi Arabia site immediately. Through on-site tests and verification of design data, the product acceptance was ultimately successful.
- Implementation Process & Timeline
In September 2022, Warom successfully won the bid for the relevant bid section of the TIPP Project. At the beginning of 2023, the project officially entered the delivery phase, and Huarong supplied goods to the site in batches in accordance with the project schedule. The entire delivery work will last until the beginning of 2024, with full synchronization to the project construction progress to ensure the timely arrival of materials.
- Results & Data Highlights
As the first cooperation project between Warom and SCT, its successful completion has accumulated valuable cooperation experience for both parties. Building on this good start, we teamed up with SCT again in 2023 to advance the Qatar NFPX Project, with a project value of 2 million US dollars, further deepening our cooperation.

As the inaugural collaboration project between Huarong and SCT, this initiative encountered numerous challenges during execution. However, its successful delivery ultimately demonstrated the formidable power of team collaboration. Through efficient organizational coordination, Huarong achieved seamless connection across all departments and stages throughout the project’s entire lifecycle. In response to client inquiries and on-site emergencies, the team acted swiftly, rallied collective strength, accurately identified the root causes of issues, and effectively formulated and implemented solutions. The successful delivery of this project not only accumulated valuable experience in cooperating with SCT but also laid a solid foundation for further deepening collaboration between the two parties in subsequent endeavors.
