Dubai Petroleum Project

  • Project Overview

As a benchmark enterprise in the field of explosion-proof lighting and electrical equipment in China, WAROM TECHNOLOGY INCORPRATED TECHNOLOGY (hereinafter referred to as “Warom “) has successfully won the bid for the DB package of Dubai Petroleum project in the United Arab Emirates. The contract only includes one HRMD93 distribution box, with a total quantity of 26 units and a total project amount of over 1.4 million US dollars. This cooperation is the first cooperation between Warom and Dubai Petroleum Establishment (DPE), so the company attaches great importance to the execution of this project and hopes to strengthen cooperation with DPE through this opportunity.

  • Customer background and challenges

Customer Background: DPE is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is a government-owned oil and gas exploration and production company specializing in offshore operations. DPE generally does not procure through EPC, but directly purchases from suppliers. Inspection is also carried out by DPE’s technical and quality inspection directly to the supplier’s factory, without passing third-party inspection. Therefore, DPE has high requirements for product quality, technical compliance, and timely delivery.

Core challenge:

  1. The project delivery time is urgent and the cycle is very short. The contract signing and delivery time are less than 4 months.
  2. One of the products, the Schneider component IM400L insulation monitor, cannot be purchased domestically. It will be purchased by a Middle Eastern company and sent to China for installation. However, Schneider’s delivery time has been repeatedly delayed, and the delivery time cannot be guaranteed.
  3. The MCB operating mechanism has rusted before leaving the factory, and the workshop is required to replace it with stainless steel material.
  4. It is necessary to balance “quick response” and “quality compliance” to avoid affecting product performance due to rush work

  • OurSolution
  1. Accelerate material preparation, confirm with customers that there will be no changes to the shell size and internal components, and then directly have the workshop prepare the shell and components to save time in the production process. Clarify client and technician inquiries in one meeting to accelerate drawing approval, and immediately task technicians with preparing production drawings upon approval, thereby advancing both technical drawing release and production in a synchronized and orderly manner.
  2. Monitor the delivery time of IM400L components purchased by Middle Eastern companies in real-time and urge Schneider to deliver them.
  3. Repeatedly reported the rusting issue of the operating mechanism to the leadership, and ultimately, Qi and the procurement department head confirmed the replacement of the stainless steel material.
  4. Reasonably plan the production quantity and completion time of each batch according to the customer’s on-site requirements, effectively arrange final inspection and batch delivery, and ensure the orderly implementation of on-site plans
  • Implementation Process &Timeline
  1. From May to June 2025, technical drawings were submitted and modified multiple times, laying the foundation for the final approval of the drawings.
  2. In July 2025, the workshop will enter the shell stocking and processing stage in an orderly and steady manner according to the plan.
  3. By August 2025, the first sample will be completed and customers will be invited to conduct on-site inspections, setting the tone for subsequent batch production confirmation of the first piece
  4. In September 2025, waiting for the Middle East company to purchase the IM400L component for inspection.
  5. In October 2025, the customer’s FAT was successfully carried out and completed, but the customer raised discrepancies.
  6. In November 2025, the workshop will rectify and close non compliant points according to customer requirements.
  7. In December 2025, according to the customer’s request, the previous sample that has already been tested will be air freighted to the customer’s site, and the remaining will be shipped upon customer notification.
  • Achievements and Data Demonstration
  1. Successfully delivered an HRMD93 distribution box, which has been accepted by the customer. The technical parameters and performance indicators meet the final confirmation requirements, and there are no quality objections

2.During the FAT period, the customer affirmed the quality of our products and subsequently placed another order for 9 similar HRMD93 distribution boxes.

  • Customer Feedback

The customer and Huarong Technology are cooperating for the first time. Although they have heard of our brand before, they have never purchased our products, so they are not very sure about the quality and production efficiency of our products. After this FAT, the customer highly praised our quality and efficiency and expressed that they will continue to strengthen cooperation with us in the future.

  • Experiences Summary & Insights
  1. Planning in advance is the core of shortening project delivery time: notifying the workshop in advance to prepare the shell and components after confirming with the customer that there are no changes in the shell size and internal components, saving time for the workshop
  2. During the production phase, it is necessary to collaborate with various departments and pay attention to the production progress. If customers provide components, it is important to pay attention to the component delivery time.
  3. We must help customers solve problems from their perspective. If the quality does not meet the requirements, we must have the workshop rectify it. We cannot let the workshop get away with it and must be responsible to the customers.
